Collingswood Bike Ped Demo Project Kick Off
Collingswood Complete Streets Lab – Access to Collingswood PATCO Edition
April 16, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Stiles Ave Pedestrian Plaza
Join us for ribbon cutting of the Collingswood Complete Streets Lab project and then stick around to learn more about the project and some fun, giveaways, and activities:
**Community Bike Ride – sponsored by Collingswood Bike Share
**Bike Rodeo – sponsored by the Collingswood Police Department
**SOJO 104.9 will be providing the soundtrack and broadcasting live from the event!
FULL SCHEUDLE:
**Ribbon Cutting opening the Complete Streets Lab 10:00 AM – 10:30AM
**Community Bike Ride 10:30 AM – 11:00 AM Check out the Maple Ave Bike Boulevard. The ride will leave from W. Stiles, in front of the PATCO station, at 10:30 AM
**Bike Rodeo (for kids Ages 8-14) 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Collingswood police will set up an obstacle course and teach kids bike handling skills. Collingswood Bikeshare will set-up a bike repair station and Cross County Connection will be on-hand to do helmet fittings.
**Hang out in the PATCO Pedestrian Plaza 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM W. Stiles Ave will be closed to traffic the duration of the project, providing a space for commuters and the community a place to relax and have fun. Refreshments, cornhole, educational exhibits and other activities will be provided. Walking tours of the project locations will also leave from the plaza throughout the afternoon.
